Overview:

We’re seeking to hire a business development guru to manage our expansion and partnership initiatives. This role is a critical part of our sales organization and rapid expansion of Bluetail.

The Business Development & Partnerships Manager will compliment and support Bluetail’s expansion initiatives. This role is responsible for partner relationships from creation, to incubation, to implementation as well as day-to-day partner management across the organization. This is a highly cross-functional role with touchpoints across internal and external entities.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify partnership strategies to expand the Bluetail footprint and strengthen our competitive position
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to create and support partnership initiatives
  • Develop, track, and communicate analyses of partnership performance; ensure ongoing alignment with organizational goals and objectives
  • Support the creation and delivery of executive-level presentations
  • Create and evaluate contract proposals to inform negotiating strategy with partner platforms and third-party partners.
  • Work with Product team on creating use cases for technical integrations

Qualifications:

  • At least three to five years of experience in business development, partnerships, and technology sales – Business aviation industry experience a plus
  • Experience with partner management, excellent communication skills
  • Ability to balance priorities of several different teams to execute projects in a timely manner
  • Strong executive presence
  • Experience with data analysis and leveraging insights to inform strategic initiatives
  • Experience gathering and analyzing research across internal and external industry sources; ability to clearly articulate the “so what”

Overview:

We’re looking for true Sales Hunters to join our Sales team as a Sales Development Representative (SDR). In this role, you will help support the rapid expansion of Bluetail by generating demand for our market-leading digital aircraft records software. A successful SDR will use their hunter sales skills and a variety of communication channels (email, phone, text, social media) to connect with potential buyers with the goal of scheduling an online demonstration with one of our aviation software experts.

What You’ll Do:

  • Gain an understanding of the Blutetail product offering customer stakeholders within the business aviation industry
  • Entrench yourself in a proven and established method for prospecting via email, phone and social media platforms to a targeted list of prospects
  • Use creative and compelling tactics to break through the noise and develop rapport with key customer stakeholders
  • Use a consultative sales approach focused on solving a prospect’s problems; not just pitching software features
  • Conduct discovery calls using a curated set of questions to qualify and schedule inbound leads to ensure successful demonstrations 
  • Manage a sales pipeline in our CRM as prospects move from Lead to Discovery to Demo stages
  • Collaborate with Marketing to help create and manage lead generation campaigns with a focus on lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline generation
  • Position yourself for future opportunities in Sales or elsewhere in an early-stage, high-growth company

Overview:

The Mobile Records Specialist is a remotely based full time position that is integral to the customer
onboarding process. The MRS is an expert with aircraft records and understands the importance of
proper identification and security of these documents. The MRS will travel to customer sites and using
multiple scanning devices, digitize the customers aircraft maintenance logbooks and supporting
documents. The MRS will review, organize and upload the digital files they have scanned to the Bluetail application. A professional demeanor and superb communication abilities are required to ensure a
successful and exemplary customer experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Become proficient with the company mission, value proposition and all Bluetail applications.
  • Efficiently and accurately, disassemble logbooks and other related binders, folders and envelopes, scan
    the images utilizing an appropriate scanning device and reassemble documents into original condition.
  • Process digitized files using tools to organize, crop, enhance image quality and rename files.
  • Often work under a tight timeline to complete each assigned project.
  • Update and monitor project status in the project management tool and communicate daily status.
  • Assist in the coordination of activities and communication between Bluetail internal support and
    customers.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the leadership.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or three (3) years’ experience directly related to aircraft maintenance, quality
    assurance/control, maintenance planning or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with aircraft maintenance documents (logbooks, work orders, regulatory forms, etc.). Business aircraft records experience is a plus.
  • Prior customer service background, preferably in an aviation environment.
  • Experience working collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals.
  • Must be highly proficient in Microsoft, Google and Adobe applications.
  • Must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with and comfortable working in remote customer locations.
  • Able to work in demanding situations with changing priorities.
  • Clean driving record and current state driver’s license.
  • Road Warrior mentality – Willingness to travel 75%-100%, often on short notice, to customer’s facilities.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • FAA A&P license is a plus.
