Overview:
The Mobile Records Specialist is a remotely based full time position that is integral to the customer
onboarding process. The MRS is an expert with aircraft records and understands the importance of
proper identification and security of these documents. The MRS will travel to customer sites and using
multiple scanning devices, digitize the customers aircraft maintenance logbooks and supporting
documents. The MRS will review, organize and upload the digital files they have scanned to the Bluetail application. A professional demeanor and superb communication abilities are required to ensure a
successful and exemplary customer experience.
What You’ll Do:
- Become proficient with the company mission, value proposition and all Bluetail applications.
- Efficiently and accurately, disassemble logbooks and other related binders, folders and envelopes, scan
the images utilizing an appropriate scanning device and reassemble documents into original condition. - Process digitized files using tools to organize, crop, enhance image quality and rename files.
- Often work under a tight timeline to complete each assigned project.
- Update and monitor project status in the project management tool and communicate daily status.
- Assist in the coordination of activities and communication between Bluetail internal support and
customers. - Other duties and projects as assigned by the leadership.
What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree or three (3) years’ experience directly related to aircraft maintenance, quality
assurance/control, maintenance planning or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Experience working with aircraft maintenance documents (logbooks, work orders, regulatory forms, etc.). Business aircraft records experience is a plus.
- Prior customer service background, preferably in an aviation environment.
- Experience working collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals.
- Must be highly proficient in Microsoft, Google and Adobe applications.
- Must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with and comfortable working in remote customer locations.
- Able to work in demanding situations with changing priorities.
- Clean driving record and current state driver’s license.
- Road Warrior mentality – Willingness to travel 75%-100%, often on short notice, to customer’s facilities.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
- FAA A&P license is a plus.
- Gain a deep understanding of the Bluetail product offering, the customer stakeholders who experience its value and the business aviation industry as a whole
- Develop an outbound cadence of communication via email, phone and LinkedIn to a targeted list of prospects
- Use creative and compelling tactics to break through the noise and develop rapport with key customer stakeholders
- Use a consultative sales approach focused on solving a prospects problems; not just pitching software features
- Conduct discovery calls using a curated set of questions to qualify and schedule inbound leads to ensure successful demonstrations
- Manage a sales pipeline in our CRM as prospects move from Lead to Discovery to Demo stages
- Collaborate with Marketing to help create and manage lead generation campaigns with a focus on lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline generation
- Position yourself for future opportunities in Sales or elsewhere in early-stage, high-growth company

- Assist with the day-to-day marketing campaign activities, stat tracking, etc.
- Assist the Marketing Agency with daily asset management and achievement of all creative, marketing, and communications objectives.
- Assist with marketing efforts to promote Bluetail.aero.
- Manage email, print campaigns, social media efforts and two events per year.
- Communicate with the rest of the team efficiently and effectively
- Attend team meetings and trainings to keep current with technology
- 2+ years of experience in a marketing role
- Knowledge of marketing web-based software tools and other web/internet applications
- Excellent organizational, verbal, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and have an ongoing desire to stay current
- Strong problem-solving skills: must be capable of accurately assessing needs, maintaining a calm, focused business demeanor, and taking quick action to resolve issues.

- Manage the scanning process through our partner network. This includes completing the project request, project order, scheduling with partners and couriers and communicating expectations internally and to customers.
- Responsible for processing documents and files when received from customers and scanning partners. This involves a high level of quality control of these files.
- Responsible to properly tag, rename and compress files as needed and then upload these files and any additional associated documents into the Bluetail application in a timely manner.
- Update and monitor project status in the project management tool
- Research and troubleshoot any technical issues encountered.
- Provide training on Bluetail applications to customers and employees as requested.
- Assist in the coordination of activities and communication between Bluetail internal support and customers.
- Other duties and projects as assigned by the Customer Success Manager.
