Sales Development

Overview:

We’re seeking to hire a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help support the rapid expansion of Bluetail by generating demand for our market-leading digital aircraft records software. A successful SDR will use a variety of communication channels (email, phone, social media) to connect with potential buyers, understand their business needs and educate them on the value of our solution with the ultimate goal of scheduling an online demonstration with one of aviation software experts.

What You’ll Do:

  • Gain a deep understanding of the Bluetail product offering, the customer stakeholders who experience its value and the business aviation industry as a whole
  • Develop an outbound cadence of communication via email, phone and LinkedIn to a targeted list of prospects
  • Use creative and compelling tactics to break through the noise and develop rapport with key customer stakeholders
  • Use a consultative sales approach focused on solving a prospects problems; not just pitching software features
  • Conduct discovery calls using a curated set of questions to qualify and schedule inbound leads to ensure successful demonstrations 
  • Manage a sales pipeline in our CRM as prospects move from Lead to Discovery to Demo stages
  • Collaborate with Marketing to help create and manage lead generation campaigns with a focus on lead quality, conversion rates, and pipeline generation
  • Position yourself for future opportunities in Sales or elsewhere in early-stage, high-growth company

Marketing Coordinator (get stuff done)

Overview:

Bluetail is currently seeking a full time skilled, self-motivated, and energetic Marketing Coordinator to join our team. The Marketing Coordinator will work diligently to execute and assist with managing demand generation campaigns, events, and working closely with our agency. We’re looking for a dynamic team-player to work closely with head of marketing and inside sales groups to accelerate overall growth.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist with the day-to-day marketing campaign activities, stat tracking, etc.
  • Assist the Marketing Agency with daily asset management and achievement of all creative, marketing, and communications objectives.
  • Assist with marketing efforts to promote Bluetail.aero.
  • Manage email, print campaigns, social media efforts and two events per year.
  • Communicate with the rest of the team efficiently and effectively
  • Attend team meetings and trainings to keep current with technology

What You’ll Need:

  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing role
  • Knowledge of marketing web-based software tools and other web/internet applications
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and have an ongoing desire to stay current
  • Strong problem-solving skills: must be capable of accurately assessing needs, maintaining a calm, focused business demeanor, and taking quick action to resolve issues.
  • Experience with and comfortable working in a remote environment.
  • Able to work in an often-stressful situations with changing priorities.

Records Analyst (perfectionado)

Overview:

The Records Analyst is a remotely based full time position that is integral to the customer onboarding process. The Records Analyst is an expert with aircraft records and understands the importance of proper identification and security of these documents. The Records Analyst will work with the Customer Success Manager to prioritize, schedule and accomplish the onboarding procedure to ensure a successful and exemplary customer experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Become proficient with the company mission, value proposition and all Bluetail applications.
  • Manage the scanning process through our partner network. This includes completing the project request, project order, scheduling with partners and couriers and communicating expectations internally and to customers.
  • Responsible for processing documents and files when received from customers and scanning partners. This involves a high level of quality control of these files.
  • Responsible to properly tag, rename and compress files as needed and then upload these files and any additional associated documents into the Bluetail application in a timely manner.
  • Update and monitor project status in the project management tool
  • Research and troubleshoot any technical issues encountered.
  • Provide training on Bluetail applications to customers and employees as requested.
  • Assist in the coordination of activities and communication between Bluetail internal support and customers.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the Customer Success Manager.

What You’ll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or five (5) years’ experience directly related to aircraft maintenance, quality assurance/control, maintenance planning or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience working with aircraft maintenance documents (logbooks, work orders, regulatory forms, etc.)
  • Prior customer service background in an aviation environment a plus.
  • Experience working collaboratively with others to achieve organizational goals.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft, Google and Adobe applications.
  • Must possess good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with and comfortable working in a remote environment.
  • Able to work in an often-stressful situations with changing priorities.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – FAA A&P license is a plus.

 

Inside Sales Rock Star

Overview:

We’re hiring an Inside Sales Representative that is responsible for selling the Bluetail SaaS application to prospective aircraft owners and operators across the United States and Canada. This candidate will take prospects and convert them into customers by demonstrating the application and its importance to aircraft owners, operators and their pilots and maintenance personnel.

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct outbound sales calls to a targeted list of prospects.
  • Schedule and conduct online product demonstrations and presentations to educate owners on the benefits of using Bluetail.
  • Manage the sales pipeline for your book of business using CRM and other related tools.
  • Generate interest in the Bluetail application and create a sense of urgency for conversion.
  • Work with Marketing to help generate lead generation campaigns.
  • Follow up with prospects to address questions and objections, and nurture prospects through
    the sales funnel to close sales.
  • Handle the closing process including account signup and handoff to the Customer Success team.

What You’ll Need:

  • A strong background in business aviation is a big plus, but not absolutely necessary. Another big
    plus is having 3 years experience selling SaaS to businesses.
  • Be resourceful, results-oriented, hands-on, and accustomed to working with a team.
  • Actively listen to prospects and customers, and intelligently overcome objections while
    developing meaningful relationships.
  • Be comfortable contacting and, more importantly, connecting with prospects.
  • Be organized, ahead of schedule, communicative, and accountable—in short, own your role
    entirely, while being open to improvements, suggestions, and new ideas.
  • Be comfortable working in a start-up environment; one that encourages creativity, being a self-
    starter and an appreciation for measured risk and unlimited rewards.
